Bargain Fares

Oct 12 (LBO) – Dubai based Emirates Airlines is offering a bargain single fare for Sri Lankan leisure seekers and businessmen flying to Europe this winter season.

Travelers flying from Colombo to 20 destinations in Europe can buy a four month, economy class return ticket for 50,000 rupees (500 dollars), excluding taxes and fuel surcharges, the airline said in a statement Thursday.

Destinations covered by the single fare are London (Heathrow and Gatwick), Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow in the UK, Athens, Casablanca, Istanbul, Malta, Larnaca, Moscow and Frankfurt, DÃ¼sseldorf, Munich, Hamburg, Milan, Paris, Rome, Nice, Zurich and Vienna in continental Europe.

The offer is valid until November 30, with reservations and ticketing to be completed by October 31.

Emirates is also offering a Business Class return ticket to any one of eight destinations Zurich, Vienna, Rome, Moscow, Milan, Malta, Larnaca, and Casablanca for 172,000 rupees (1720 dollars), as part of the special offer.
