Dec 22, 2010 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's NDB Bank has launched its own credit cards as it expands its retail business, a statement said. The credit cards will be available to all NDB Bank customers who will get a 45-day interest free period for repayment and a balance transfer option which enables customers to transfer balances from other existing credit cards.

The globally recognized credit card comes with chip-enabled security and is accepted at over 25 million VISA merchants and a million ATMs locally and internationally.

The NDB Bank credit card is an advanced, secure card introduced to the market with low interest rates," said NDB Bank chief executive Russell De Mel.

Cash advances can be made at any of the NDB Bank’s or Visa ATMs worldwide, the statement said.
