Aug 02, 2017 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's Cargills (Ceylon) PLC said it has entered into an agreement with Bank of China to promote co-operation between Cargills group and Bank of China’s Colombo branch.

In a stock exchange filing the firm said that the agreement aims to promote co-operation and strengthen business ties between the two entities.
"The entry of Bank of China – Colombo branch is expected to enhance trade and investment between China and Sri Lanka," it said.
Bank of China is the world’s fourth largest bank and oldest bank in mainland China.
