The insurance watchdog is seeking Finance Ministry approval to start a dedicated insurance supervision division.
Presently, the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka (IBSL) has only two consultants on its cadre. The rest are shared with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) secretariat.rn
