Feb 24, 2016 (LBO) – Digital Holdings Lanka, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dialog Axiata has entered in to a joint venture agreement with Asiri Hospital Holdings yesterday to provide digital health solutions.
Digital Holdings holds 70 percent of the shareholding and Asiri Hospitals holds the balance 30 percent of the joint venture that was incorporated on 14 August 2015.
The new venture, Digital Health, will implement integrated e-commerce infrastructure through the provision of digitally-enabled medical appointment management for healthcare providers.
The company said Digital Health aims to add all registered and accredited private medical and healthcare institutions around the island on to its platform.
The joint venture further said it aims to serve as the benchmark integrated e-commerce healthcare solution in the Asia-Pacific region.
