Mar 06, 2014 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Dialog Axiata said it had offering a 4G Smartphone to its own-brand range. Customers wanting to upgrade to the firms 4G-LTE network with burst speeds of up to 40Megabits per second could use the Dialog Q 143L Smartphone, the firm said in a statement.
“Sri Lankan mobile users are hungry for sophisticated yet affordable mobile phones that allow them to reap the benefits of the mobile internet,” Lasantha Theverapperuma, Senior General Manager, and Head of Mobile Telecommunications at Dialog Axiata said.
The phone is offered for 34,990 rupees.
It runs on Android’s 4.0 (Ice-Cream Sandwich) operating system. It is 11mm thick and weighs 151 grams, and has a battery with 240 hours standby and 6 hours of talk time.
