Sri Lanka firm starts online store of ebooks by local authors
Aug 04, 2008 (LBO) - A Sri Lankan firm has started selling books by local authors on the internet with soft copies available for download, the company, Z-World said in a statement.
The company said copies of books were available in pdf, a popular document compression format developed by the software firm Adobe.

Buyers could also order hard copies online from its website www.thezworld.com.

Z-World said books by the Sri Lankan author Carl Muller were already available in its 'Z-Library' and the first chapter could be downloaded free.

In addition to works of local authors, locally published magazines would also be put on the store, the company said.

Z-World is a web-based marketing firm.

The Book "Sex to Soul" is not porn... just because the title contains the word "Sex" soes not mean it contains anything remotely pronographical in nature... I would suggest you get your facts straight before commenting. Would the movie "Sex and the City" be classified under porn?

this book is purely autobiographical, and should be read as a study book on life. I suggest you read the book for yourself first... also you would be able to download the first chapter of the site free, so read it your self and see.

Thought the first title on the homepage: "Sex to Soul" by Janine Cooke will not be allowed to be read under the new Sri Lankan rules to ban online porn
