Aug 08, 2007 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Triad advertising has got affiliated to thenetworkone, a global network of specialist agencies, with the aim of giving overseas exposure to Sri Lankan brands. “We felt there was a need to have an international platform and that was the only way we could go forward and give our brands the ability to go out in to the world,” Varuni Amunugama Fernando, joint managing director of Triad, told reporters.

The deal gives access to custom-built specialist agencies to suit specific needs of clients and helps Triad exchange ideas and expertise with agencies around the world, Triad said.

London-based thenetworkone has international specialists in research, translation, television and print production, media management, econometric modeling and public relations.

The agency thenetworkone will provide management skills, international contacts and the technology to ensure all agencies work together to deliver products to its clients.

The firm will also channel international clients into the network, letting the local ad agency handle international accounts.
