“Paragraph one states, ‘Customers of GoldQuest’s controversial network marketing scheme, who have not received gold coins and those whose cards have been used by third parties without their knowledge, have started to get their money back after complaining to the credit card issuer.’
We wish to set the record straight by stating that at this point in time no refunds have been issued by GoldQuest.”
The story did not say GoldQuest refunded the money. It said the banks that issued the credit cards have given money back to participants who disputed the transactions, under standard rules governing e-commerce credit card transactions.
