IATA recognizes LOUIS PRESTON as “Top Performing Training Centre 2016” in South Asia

Press Release: IATA (International Air Transport Association), the trade association for 260 member airlines and sole representative for more that 100,000 IATA Accredited travel agents worldwide has been developing and inventing innovative tailor-made various training programs for the human capital in the Aviation, travel & tourism industry ever since the air transportation was commercialized globally.

As a part of IATA, ITDI (IATA Training and Development Institute) based in Montreal Canada is being actively engaged in various training solutions despite geographical boundaries to those who are keen to step in to one of the fastest growing industries in the world, under the quest of bringing global qualifications to professionals IATA has been appointing Authorized Training Centers (ATC) every region, LOUIS PRESTON had the privilege to become the first IATA ATC in Sri Lanka in the year 2005 delivering class room lecturing, as a valued partner of IATA LOUIS PRESTON currently conducting professional qualifications in segments of Travel & Tourism and Aviation studies.

Over the past decade as the leader of educational service provider in IATA professional qualifications IATA had recognized LOUIS PRESTON with many awards, IATA Premier Circle was launched in 2009 to recognize the global top performers amongst IATAs training partners later the program has been extended to cover the ATC (Authorized Training Center), ATS (Accredited Training School) and RTP (Regional Training Partner) Network.

The 2016 winners have been chosen for their performance in 2015, based on,

1. The number of students enrolled to IATA programs,
2. The pass percentage and the volume of business generated

In the preceding year as an Authorized Training Center (ATC) LOUIS PRESTON achieved impressive results in training a large number of students, demonstrated loyalty to IATA training programs and commitment to student success reflected by high student examination passing rates subsequently was awarded as the “Top Performing ATC (Authorized Training Centre) in South Asia 2016, this has been the 3rd consecutive occasion that LOUIS PRESTON was awarded this prized followed by 2014, 2015 and in 2016 making a mile stone as becoming the only institute to receive this award in Sri Lanka.
