Nov 07, 2013 (LBO) – Accenture, a multinational management consulting and outsourcing company is teaming up Sri Lanka’s Brandix to provide services focussing on the global apparel retail sector. “This collaboration will have a significant impact in building capability in services for the apparel industry that can be leveraged by Brandix and our clients globally.”
Brandix said Accenture will initially bring its system and processes to the firm which will then be offered to third party clients under the deal.
“Accenture will bring its extensive global experience, proprietary assets, software and analytics capabilities, helping to create more efficient and cost effective business processes,” Brandix chief executive Ashroff Omar said in a statement.
“This will enable us to focus on delivering a high quality product and service to our global customers.
“We are excited about the prospects of building this capability which will enable Sri Lanka™s apparel sector to leapfrog into a knowledge-based industry.”
The firms had inked a deal and also received approval from Sri Lanka’s Board of Investment in a meeting attended by Accenture Lanka (Pvt) Ltd director Girish Tutakane and
