Founder Chairman Sampath Happawana says the ICL Notebook is Sri Lanka’s first fully locally assembled laptop.
Happawana also hopes to take his notebook to overseas markets, with plans already to establish marketing presence in Singapore, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia.
Happawana says, while the laptop’s specifications and designs were on par with international models, the firm would have an edge over customization options and after sales.
