The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) has filed a fresh petition against Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd in Fort Magistrates Court on Friday, with summons returnable on December 10.
TRC withdrew its case from Colombo Magistrates Court on the same day.

rnIn a separate case filed on the 18th of November, Mobitel has sought costs, a writ of certiorari, writ of prohibition, a writ of mandamus against TRCs directive and interim relief suspending its operation.rn

rnCourt of Appeal has proceeded to hear the case. Interim relief has not been granted.
