HSBC economist to visit Sri Lanka
10 Feb, 2010 09:15:02
Feb 10, 2010 (LBO) - HSBC's senior Asian economist, Robert Prior-Wandesforde will visit Sri Lanka on February 12 and speak at a breakfast forum for corporate customers, the bank's local unit said.
Prior-Wandesforde joined HSBC in 1994, having previously worked as an economist in the UK for three years.

Thereafter, he was based in London for 12 years, covering various continental European economies and becoming HSBC’s Chief Euro zone economist at the inception of the single currency in 1999.

He was then relocated to HSBC Singapore in June 2006.

HSBC says its breakfast forums are organized to share the bank's view on current and future global economic trends and its effects on Sri Lanka to help customers better manager foreign exchange and interest rate risks.
