Sri Lanka changes liquid stock index

June 24, 2011 (LBO) - Component stocks of Sri Lanka's Milanka index of liquid stocks will be changed from next month with seven firms being dropped, the Colombo Stock Exchange said.
Aitken Spence, Ceylon Grain Elevators, Laugfs Gas, Piramal Glass Ceylon, Royal Ceramics Lanka, The Colombo Fort Land and Building Company and The Lanka Hospitals Corporation have been added.

Asian Hotels and Properties, Chemical Industries (Colombo), Chevron Lubricants Lanka, DFCC Bank, Galadari Hotels, National Development Bank and Overseas Realty Ceylon have been dropped.
