Sri Lanka Kshatriya sells apparel finishing firm

Mar 09, 2010 (LBO) - Sri Lanka listed Kshatriya Holdings said it was selling a 55 percent garment washing unit, Sithro Garment Finishing Company Limited for 20.7 million rupees.
The firm said 6.875 million shares in the finishing firm were sold to Hirdramani (Private) Ltd, an apparel group.
"[B]y virtue of this transaction Kshatriya Holdings PLC exits form its involvement in the garment washing sector," director Dinesh Schaffter said in a stock exchange filing,
