O ye of a lot of faith, lets hope that your earnest wishes for the development of Hambantota as a Port hub come through, during your lifetime.

Ye who hath little faith. I believe these improved infrastructure is indeed necessary as Hambantota is heading to become the largest port in Asia. This port would become a damp squib if there were adequate means to get there.

Is there a dire need to build 'fly-overs' in sparsely populated Hambanthota? This is purely to line the pockets of the middlemen!

This reminds me of the unnecessary constructions done in Valencia, Spain during the 'boom' years. 5 years later, the state of Valencia (and the whole of Spain) is bankrupt !
