Sri Lanka's Dialog Axiata buys e-commerce firm

Dec 10, 2012 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's Dialog Axiata said it will acquire a 26 percent stake in Digital Commerce Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, which owns Anything.lk an e-commerce site for 1.59 million US dollars.
Dialog said in a stock exchange filing that it also planned to transfer group e-commerce businesses ibuy.lk and tradenet.lk into Digital Commerce Lanka to operate a "unified platform for internet based commerce and trade."
Dialog said it had entered into an agreement other shareholders which will allow it to increase the stake in Digital Commerce Lanka later.

1.59m/26% * LKR 130 = 800m rupees. Looks like Dialog is xxxx like when still loss making DTV was bought...
Minority share holders should ask for the revenue and profit of Anything.lk to see if its value can be justified.. lets see when they report !! might be high PE than facebook multiple also...
