26 Nov, 2012 08:34:23
Nov 26, 2012 (LBO) - Grants advertising group said it had won three silver and four bronze awards at Sri Lanka's Effie advertising for 2012 with the telecom brand Etisalat being the most awarded with five medals.
The Grants group in represented in Sri Lanka by Response Marketing and Grant McCann Erickson agencies.

"Grants have always stood behind the power of effective creativity and firmly believe that brands in their portfolio that excel in the marketplace are the greatest measures of their success," the company said in a statement.

"At the Grant Group, great attention is paid to market studies, strategic planning, pre & post campaign research and of course a stringent standard of creativity. All which contribute to highly effective brand campaigns."

Etisalat had won five awards. Grants said the brand had been the most awarded since Sri Lanka's Effies began.

The Effies were founded in 1968 by the American Marketing Association.

Organizers have said that standards are equal across countries and an advertisement that wins an award in one country, can potentially win in another.
