Sept 23, 2009 (LBO) – A South Asian broadband communication conference and expo to be held in Sri Lanka in October with speakers from the global industry will focus on investing, and cost and revenue models in the fast growing region. It will also cover how Next Generation Technology fits into the region, home to large clusters of outsourced back office services in financing, accounting, exports, and manufacturing, the organisers said in a statement.
The conference, organized by Technology Networking International (TNI) a USA-based firm, would bring together global equipment vendors, regional operators, service providers, regulatory agencies, channel partners, and corporate customers.
It will address the latest technology and regulatory developments, business case studies and development plans of the main operators and internet service providers in the region.
The conference, to be held on October 6 and 7, 2009, will deal with broadband deployment in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
