May 05, 2010 (LBO) – HSBC’s Asia Pacific head of corporate real estate, Richley Featherstone is visiting Colombo to meet senior management and the head of the bank’s operations in Sri Lanka and Maldives. The corporate real estate department acts as the custodian of HSBC premises providing the right property at the right time to satisfy current and future requirements, the bank said in a statement.
Featherstone is a chartered surveyor who has worked with HSBC for 20 years.
“He also provides professional property advice in Hong Kong and across the Asia Pacific region,” HSBC said in a statement.
“His team is made up of core specialists, including surveyors, engineers, architects, designers, real estate strategists and analysts.” The unit is responsible for all matters relating to real estate in the Asia Pacific region and overlooks the operations of 20 countries.
