Mr. Lankadeva occupies the cubicle situated next to the one that was occupied by murdered customs officer Sujith Prasanna.

Customs is offering a five-million rupee reward for information leading to the arrest of the assailants.

“He was investigating a pyramid scheme company’s fraudulent import of gold and silver coins at extremely undervalued rates,” said Anil de Silva, Customs Superintendent’s Union.
