Rotana Jet starts Sri Lanka flights to Colombo, Matala

Apr 07, 2014 (LBO) – Abu Dhabi based Rotana Jet said will start flying to Sri Lanka’s Colombo and Matala airports from April 09, three times a week. The airline will use Airbus 319 aircraft from Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The airline said it hopes to increase frequencies to six a week later.

It now operates flights to Bahrain, Muscat and Salalah in addition to the flights to Sir Bani Yas Island, Fujairah, Delma and Dubai.

On its online sales portal economy return tickets are priced at around 29,000 and 30,000 Sri Lanka rupees.
