Sri Lanka’s Singer and Hayleys issued trading halt

Sept 13, 2017 (LBO) - The Colombo Stock Exchange said that a trading halt has been issued on Singer (Sri Lanka) Plc, and Hayleys, Wednesday.

Trading in the stock of the two firms were halted "pending clarification," a CSE statement said, amidst talk of Hayleys interest in Singer. Singer Sri Lanka closed at 52.50 rupees, up 8.10 rupees yesterday following a take-over speculation.
