Sri Lanka’s 3 and 6 months Treasury bill yields up: Central Bank

July 8, 2015, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s Treasury bill yields were up at Wednesday’s auction with 3-months yield up 03 basis points to 6.14 percent and 6-month yields also were also up 05 basis points, to 6.26 percent, data from the state debt office showed.

It was decided to accept 12,918 million rupees from the auction of 03 month yields from received 37,428 million rupees worth bills.

Treasury bills of 22,000 million were issued through the auction held today.

6-month bills closed at 6.26 percent and it was decided to accept 10,623 million rupees.

12-month closed flat at 6.28 percent and 802 million rupees were accepted from the auction.

The auction was oversubscribed with bids amounting to 76223 million rupees being received and it was decided to accept 24,343 million rupees from the auction.
