“It’s a tourist coach converted into a fully equipped, air-conditioned, IT exhibition. The transformation alone cost over Rs. 1 mn,” says Anise.
Equipped with projectors, sound systems and exhibition stalls, the bus is an Rs. 4 mn good deed from PC House and is part of a Rs. 15 mn CSR project that will see three more IT buses on local roads by December.
“They are designed to teach the history of information technology, its evolution and its benefits to Sri Lankan youth,” says Anise.
