Officials from the Asian Development Bank, International Monetary Fund, the United Nations and World Bank will meet the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Ealam’s (LTTE) political chief S P Thamilselvan.

“They will discuss progress in tsunami and post conflict reconstruction activities in the region,” the statement added.

Solheim’s diplomatic efforts last Wednesday, were a major breakthrough for the Colombo based government, as the Norwegian brokered February 2002 ceasefire was on the brink of collapse.
