Retailing at under Rs. 50,000 for the cheapest model, the blackberry is targeted at the corporate sector, with a sales target of 1000 units for 2006.

Blackberry owners will pay Rs. 1700 monthly to use 15 megabits of data and two cents per kilobit thereafter.

Voice services will add Rs. 100 to the monthly charge, while international roaming charges will depend on the operators in the specific countries.
