The leaflet, designed by the Expressway Operation Maintenance and Management Division detailed general safety guidelines which included the maximum speed allowed on the highway and proper overtaking techniques.

“We are proud to have had this opportunity to partner with the Expressway Operation Maintenance and Management Division to promote highway safety to the general public,” said Lalinda Kalubowila, CEO of Walkers CML Properties (Pvt) Ltd explaining the commitment of Walkers CML to sustainable highway development in Sri Lanka.

Through extensive training programmes and planning, the Expressway Operation Maintenance and Management Division was fully geared to handle this volume without any incidents,” said Eng. Saman Opanayake, Director of Expressway Operation Maintenance and Management Division.
