Oct 29, 2018 (LBO) – Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has been appointed as the Minister of Education and Higher Education while Douglas Devananda has been appointed as the Minister of Resettlement, Rehabilitation, Northern Development, & Hindu Religious Affairs. Arumugam Thondaman has been appointed as the Minister of Hill Country New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development while Vasantha Senanayake has been appointed as the Minister of Tourism and Wildlife. Suresh Vadivel has been appointed as the new State Minister of Plantation Industries and Ananda Aluthgamage has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Wildlife.
