rnThe six top officials included the cellular operators Chairman Thilanga Sumathipala, Shuhei Anan (Director), Ken Sato (Director), Lalith de Silva (CEO) and two other senior executives endash Kapila Chandrasekera and the firms company secretary.rn

rnMobitel earned the regulators wrath when it refused to call off its promotional GSM package. rn

rnThe two-month trial period for its GSM service, started this month by offering free calls for subscribers. rn

rnMobitel was also allowing blocks of 11 minutes worth of outgoing calls to customers, during the trial run.rn
