British tourist killed by crocodile near Arugam Bay

Sept 15, 2017 (LBO) - A british journalist has been killed by a crocodile at a lagoon in Sri Lanka during a holiday with friends, the Telegraph reported. Paul McClean, 24, was attacked as he dipped his hands in the water at the lagoon known as Crocodile Rock located close to Arugam Bay. McClean was a Financial Times journalist and Oxford graduate.

In April this year, a 13-year-old girl was attacked and dragged away by a crocodile in Galnewa. In July last year a 60-year-old Sri Lankan man was killed by a crocodile whilst fishing in Sammanthurai.
