Today, we are helping the world breathe better. We have the world’s largest range of inhaled medication and devices. For every condition, every age and every stage, we have the right medication, the perfect dosage form, the right delivery system for the management of asthma.”

Data from Sri Lanka College of Pulmonologists (SLCP) shows that Sri Lanka has an estimated one million asthma patients approximately with close to 1,000 persons dying of asthma every year in the island in Government hospitals.

SLCP says the country was reaching a higher level in the world’s asthma statistics due to the number of persons being diagnosed with the disease while there are a total of 300 million asthma patients in the world.

‘Asthma is an important concern for so many people of all ages and it’s something that can be addressed with a healthy lifestyle. In this context, it’s an absolute pleasure for the Big Life magazine team to partner with Cipla & Sri Lanka college of Pulmonologists on this endeavor that allows participants to measure the personal health impact of cycling ( with lung capacity testing at start and end) as well as directly provide help to asthma suffering by simply taking part.” the magazine says.

Come along with your cycle and helmet take a lung capacity test before you ride out and take another after you complete the ride.
