The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) is revising the index calculation methodology of the All Share Price Index (ASPI) from full market capitalization-weighting to free float-adjusted Market Capitalization weighting.

Meanwhile, the CSE, with the consultation of the Securities and Exchange Commission has decided to extend the trading hours from Monday, 03 January 2022 as set out below:
Pre-open session - 10.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
Open Auction - at 10.30 a.m.
Regular Trading - will commence at 10.
