On a 12 month moving average basis, inflation fell to 0.7 percent in September from 1.0 percent in the previous month.

There were slight price declines from August to September in most types of rice, coconut oil, eggs, red onions, green chillies, vegetables and fish. Among non-food items, there were declines in electricity, L.P. gas, kerosene and bus fares, the department said.

Deflation is too bad for the economy. Its a starting fact for the major disaster.

There’s no real deflation. Only that brought in by the collapse of global crude prices.

Who cares if the economy collapses. Third world countries are there to please developed countries and play servile to them in UNHRC council and brag about it back home while the economy is pushed to a deflation.
