Telecom operators have ganged up to lobby against the draft External Gateway Operators (EGO) licence published for public comment earlier this week.

rnOfficials say that the draft licence is missing chunks of a recent proposal by a Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) appointed foreign consultant, favouring data operators. rn

rnTermination rates and access chares proposed in the draft licence are among other issue the operators will lobby to amend.rn
