Apollo is trying to break into the booming global business of health tourism that is expanding by 20 percent every year.

Only last year 1.3 mn people came to five countries in close proximity of Sri Lanka to mix and match professional medical assistance with leisure.

These five countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Jordan - are the nucleolus of the US$ 40 bn global health tourism industry.
