The Ambassador of Finland to Sri Lanka Rauli Suikkanen says that he would call leading entrepreneurs of his country to commence investment in Sri Lanka. Ambassador Suikkanen announced this when he met Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake at the Ministry for Finance yesterday (February 6).
Finish Ambassador Rauli Suikkanen further said that there is a confidence in the country as its economic development has been growing smoothly and, steps will be taken to bring Finnish investors to Sri Lanka accordingly.
At this juncture, Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake said the interest taken by Finland government on Sri Lanka is of paramount importance. He said that Sri Lankais moving on a new journey on the advice of his Excellency President Maithripala Sirisena and Honorable Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
