ikman.lk experiences positive growth with ‘Buy Now’

(PRESS RELEASE)- COLOMBO: ikman.lk- Sri Lanka’s largest marketplace –announced positive growth over the past several months on the site’s popular delivery service ‘Buy Now’ as more and more buyers and sellers reap benefits from this service. ‘Buy Now’ was launched in June 2016 and as of today sees thousands of orders executed within a month. ikman.lk receives an average of 250 orders per day via ‘Buy Now’ which continues to increase. The orders are not limited to small items. Sellers using the service can list large items for sale such as treadmills, wide screen televisions and other items similar in size, where ikman.lk takes the responsibility of delivering these goods to the door step of the buyer. Furthermore, the service offers cash on delivery adding convenience to the sellers. The ‘Buy Now’ feature provides greater convenience to both parties. While buyers and sellers can still interact with each other, this is an added service from ikman.lk eliminating the need for buyers and sellers to meet across distances to conclude a transaction. The opportunity gives sellers to reach more buyers regardless of their geographical location. Sellers are charged a nominal fee for this service. Ikman’s return policy further adds credibility to ‘Buy Now.’ The return policy allows the buyer to open a package upon delivery and verify the content prior to making a payment. This gives the buyer the right, under reasonable conditions, to reject the item in the event of dissatisfaction.
