Japanese firm buys 11-pct of Sri Lanka’s Sunshine Holdings


Apr 03, 2017 (LBO) – Japan’s SBI Ven Holdings, an investment holding company, bought a 11 percent stake in Sri Lanka’s Sunshine Holdings for 742.5 million rupees.

The firm bought 14.85 million shares at 50 rupees a share.

SBI Ven Capital is a Singapore based private equity firm with interests in financial services and technology sectors across Asia and the Group manages funds up to 380 million dollars out of Singapore.
