Nov 11, 2011 (LBO) – BRC Partnership, a consultancy based in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, is to provide management training and coaching for businesses in Sri Lanka, the British high commission said in a statement.
Vicky Kell, Invest NI Trade Director said the joint venture deal was “an important success” for a Northern Ireland company specialising in professional services.
Post-war Sri Lanka is a market “that is developing rapidly and in which businesses are particularly keen to secure knowledge and expertise, particularly in key areas such as management and leadership. The firm has signed a joint venture deal following an Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI) trade mission to India and Sri Lanka in April this year.
BRC will work with a former chairman of the Council for Business with Britain (CBB) in Sri Lanka, Anil Wijesinghe, a Sri Lankan businessman interested in developing professional business training in the island.
