For the first time in its history, the annual National Law Conference was converted to a “hybrid” conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic under the COVID Guidelines published by the Ministry of Health. The National Law Conference Organized by the Bar Association and conducted by professional conference organizers Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services Pvt. Ltd (LECS)
Accordingly, a limited number of resource persons and participants were physically present at the conference, while several resource persons and a majority of participants attended virtually. The two-day event was concluded successfully.
NLC 2021 was held under the theme of “Futurism,” which was described as an attempt to envisage a future from the present “new normal” to a “new dynamic.” The Conference undoubtedly assisted legal professionals to be more prepared towards what the future brings.
