Neat Fit

Mar. 30 (LBO) - The open source middleware start up WSO2 said Thursday that its WSO2 Tungsten product is fully interoperable with Microsoft's upcoming Vista operating system. WSO2 is an open source company, which has offices in Boston, USA and a development centre in Sri Lanka.

"Our efforts are proving that open source middleware technologies produced in Sri Lanka are equal or better than any middleware from anywhere in the world," Sanjiva Weerawarana, Founder, Chairman & CEO of WSO2 said.

Weerawansa says it is vital for local developers to comply with standards and be interoperable with leading industry vendors.

The company has just concluded interoperability tests with other industry giants including JBoss, Sun and Oracle.

WSO2 says its engineers contribute heavily to many key Apache Web services projects.
