No official song to mark one year of President’s term

Maithripala-Sirisena

Jan 11, 2016 (LBO) – Secretary to the President P.B. Abeykoon says no official song has been released to mark one year of democratic governance under the leadership of President Maithripala Sirisena. The Secretary to the President further said that a song titled “Nuba Ape Minisek” has been erroneously disseminated as Sri Lanka President’s Official Song for 2016. "It has been played by some social networking websites without the permission of the President as well as the Presidential Secretariat," Abeykoon said. The song came under heavy criticism after social activists claimed it as a song produced by a bard.

There was an article about this on daily mirror. it says they were requested to do this video. How could they use president’s pictured if they were not authorized to do this. Then the president should file a legal action.

Political panegyrist are running amok, there are shills to Sirisena administration the same way there were shills to Rajapakse administration. Even a mere accomplishment like winning a election to form a government is hailed as a conquering entire celestial inhabitants. Do they know Sri Lanka is sitting on a financial mess which could experience worst financial collapse in her known history?, Billion dollars from Belgian investor simply buying the time for inevitability….

The reasons could be.
a)Work now get priorities right show results & sing later policy .
b)Budget restrictions on felicitations.
