Opposition presidential candidate Sirisena says the govt has not given enough freedom for businesses in Sri Lanka

Dec 24, 2014 (LBO) - Opposition’s common presidential candidate Maithripala Sirisena said that the government had not given enough freedom for business community of Sri Lanka to do business activities and entertain only certain businesses who supported government policy regime. œNeither the OPEC nor any other international guru or super economist couldn’t predict the oil prices now enjoyed by the masses the world over but stressing and shaking the global economy, Siresena explained.

œEminent professionals in our common party with brilliant track record, fear that economy will soon collapse and up in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the treasury,"

œIt is in these circumstances and bad ground that we have to look at our own economic growth and the sustainability,

He described first as the 'hybrid engine' which refers to the private sector of the country.Second is the 'Petrol engine' which is the public and private partnership.

'Turbo Diesel engine' is the third which describes as the State sector businesses, example Sathosa , Milco and etc.

The forth is 'Dimo Battas which refers to the NGOs
