President extends term of bond commission until Dec 31

Dec 07, 2017 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s President Maithripala Sirisena has extended the term of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Central Bank bond, until 31st December. The relevant gazette notification said President enlarged the time by 23 days up to 31st December. The commission was appointed to investigate, inquire into and report on the issuance of Treasury Bonds during the period 01st February 2015 to 31st March 2016. 2048-29_E
