The Ceylon Chamber will mobilise private sector support for the states “Regaining Sri Lanka” initiative though its annual convention, which hopes to take the theme to its next level.
The Chamber says local businesses are being risk averse and holding back on their capabilities until a permanent peace was established.rn
rnOrganisers say to encourage the private sector out of their shell; a number of the presenters at the Convention spread over October 16 to 18, have been picked for their role in shaping some of the worlds successful economies and leading firms during its hardest times. rn
rnThe two key note speakers in particular are expected to provide the thrust for the participants to generate fresh momentum for economic development. rn
rnDelegates will discuss strategies to achieve double digit economic growth and the role of the private sector in infrastructure development in line with the Regaining Sri Lanka document.
