Renuka City Hotel re-branded after Rs300mn revamp

Sep 30, 2015 (LBO) – Sri Lanka’s leisure sector player Renuka City Hotel on Tuesday unveiled its new corporate logo which completes its 300 million rupees renovation plan.

The listed Renuka City Hotel is a subsidiary of Renuka Hotels Limited which comprises of 18 super delux, 40 delux and 41 standard rooms located in the centre of island’s commercial capital.

41 rooms as well as the banquet hall have been completely redesigned and refurbished over an eight-month period, the company said.

The hotel’s gym, pool and lounge areas have also been renovated prior to the main refurbishment process.

“Complementing this renovation of the facility is the launch of Hotel’s new logo,” Joint Managing Director Arnila Thambiayah told journalists.

“The newly designed logo is a testament to our willingness to adapt as a brand.” she added.

The banquet hall which equipped with deluxe interiors and state of the art lighting has the flexibility to accommodate audiences from 20 to 250 people.

The multi-functional hall also has inbuilt partitions; creating individual rooms to meet client’s requirements.

In 2012, it has been granted approval to extend their old building by 18 guest rooms as well as a swimming pool, gym and a car park at an estimated cost of 218 million rupees.

The share closed at 347.00 rupees, up 1.50 rupees on Tuesday.
