Sri Lanka Cricket signs in new sponsors

June 09, 2012 (LBO) – Reebok, Pepsi, Elephant House and Jetwing Hotels have joined the list of new commercial partners to sponsor the Sri Lanka Cricket team, a statement said. The three-year contract was announced on Saturday, following a competitive bidding process earlier this year, Sri Lanka Cricket said.

Reebok India, secured the official clothing partners' contract, while the promotional rights on soft drinks was awarded to Varun Beverages, the holding company of Pepsico India, the release said.

Sri Lanka’s Ceylon Cold Stores PLC, popular for its food, ice cream and beverage ranges, secured the contract as the official food, frozen novelties and energy drinks supplier.

Ceylon Cold Stores retails products under the "Elephant House" brand name.

Lion Brewery PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s largest beer manufacturers, was awarded the rights to sell and promote beer at official games.

Sri Lanka’s Jetwing Hotels group, is the new hotel and hospitality partner for events in the southern town of Galle. Jetwing’s seafront property in Galle, the Light House Hotel has been a popular venue to host national players in the past.
