He was speaking at an LBR-LBO CEO forum in Colombo.
Pallewatte who visited Japan as a student and brought three samples of an impact sensor home rebuilt more samples at home and gained entry to a global supply chain despite having no background in electronics or engineering.
He had faced repeated rejections and had been ignored by potential buyers over several years . But his persistence eventually paid off and he built a lasting relationship with a Japanese firm.
